From Anxiety to Abundance: A Lesson in Faith and Divine Providence

As we close the year 2025 and welcome 2026, I want to share a deeply personal experience that taught me profound lessons about faith, perseverance, and the unseen hands that guide us.

Recently, I conducted training from December 18 to 26, 2025 at Bahay Siadtala Binabaylan. My expectation was to earn enough to sustain my needs and pay off debts. However, the reality was different—I spent more than I earned. At first, this caused anxiety and fear. Questions filled my mind: How will I pay my debts? How will I sustain my ministry?
But in the midst of this struggle, I found joy in something priceless: I gained new friends and practitioners who share the same passion for Hilot and Indigenous Spirituality. This reminded me that true wealth is not always measured in money, but in relationships and shared purposes.

Then, something miraculous happened. Today, I received a huge amount of money—enough to pay all my debts for the entire year of 2026. My worries vanished in an instant. I realized that the Council of the Diwata never intended for me to drown in anxiety. Instead, they opened the door of blessings, pouring abundance upon me so I could start the new year debt-free.

I acknowledge the intercession of Diwatang Bulan La Mogoaw and all the Diwata who have come to the Temple this 2025. Their providence and guidance led me to connect with people chosen to establish their glory. This experience strengthened my faith and reminded me never to lose hope, especially in times of need.

Lessons We Can Learn
1. Faith Over Fear– When challenges arise, trust that the universe—or in our tradition, the Diwata—has a plan beyond what we see.
2. Value Relationships Over Profit – Financial gain is temporary, but friendships and shared spiritual growth last a lifetime.
3. Divine Timing Is Perfect – Blessings often come when we least expect them, but always when we need them most.
4. Gratitude Opens Doors – A thankful heart attracts more abundance and peace.

A Prayer of Thanksgiving to Bulan La Mogoaw and the Council of the Diwata

O Bulan La Mogoaw, Radiant Diwata of Light and Hope,
We lift our hearts in gratitude for your guidance and strength.
In moments of fear and uncertainty, you shone upon us with your gentle light, reminding us that hope never fades.

To the Council of the Diwata, we offer our deepest thanks for opening the gates of blessing and abundance.
You have shown that our labor in service of healing and tradition is never in vain.

May your wisdom continue to guide our steps, May your grace sustain our hearts,
And may your light lead us into a new year filled with peace, prosperity, and purpose.
We honor you, Bulan La Mogoaw, and all Diwata who dwell in the sacred realms.
So be it.
