Since Diwatang Amagaolay came, many inspirations came in to me so as the blessings they provide in my life. And as a Gratitude I made a vow to go in Pangasinan to properly honor them for the Blessings they have given to me.
Unlike Diwatang Lumaweg that have chosen Brgy. Alab Oriente in the Municipality of Bontoc in Mountain Province. I am looking also for the exact venue where Diwatang Amagaolay is worshipped. There is no exact location it mentioned where AMA is being worshipped. But i was led to Lingayen, Pangasinan where Lingayen Gulf can be found.
Since it is mentioned in article post and research studies that Diwatang Amagaolay is the Supreme Deity of Pangasinan; and the etymology of the word Pangasinan means Pinag Asinan or place where salt is made. And salt is made from Salt Water. I may conclude that Amagaolay is a Sea Deity on which it mention that he is the Father of Agueo and Bulan.
🌞🌙🌊 The Timeless Dance of Sun, Moon, and Sea
The sun rises and sets over the sea, painting the horizon with golden hues. The moon follows, casting silver light across the waves. Together, they orchestrate a rhythm that has guided sailors, inspired poets, and shaped the tides of the Earth.
🌞 The Sun: Giver of Light and Life
The sun warms the ocean, fuels the winds, and drives the water cycle. Its daily rise and fall over the sea marks time and brings life to coastal communities. In many cultures, the sun is a symbol of hope, renewal, and strength.
🌙 The Moon: Keeper of Mystery and Motion
The moon’s gravitational pull creates the tides, causing the sea to rise and fall in a gentle, eternal rhythm. It governs the night, influences marine life, and evokes a sense of calm and reflection. The moon is often seen as a symbol of intuition, emotion, and change.
🌊 The Sea: Mirror of the Sky
The sea reflects both the sun and moon, absorbing their light and energy. It is a place of rest and refuge, as you beautifully noted with the idea of Panarian—a coastal haven. The sea connects lands, cultures, and people, just as the sun and moon connect day and night.
🌌 Symbolic Connection
- Balance: The sun and moon represent duality—day and night, light and dark—while the sea harmonizes their energies.
- Cycles: All three follow natural cycles—sunrise/sunset, moon phases, tidal movements—reminding us of the rhythm of life.
- Guidance: Ancient navigators used the sun and moon to chart their course across the sea, trusting in their celestial guidance.
